What is the Friends of Scouting Campaign?
Friends of Scounting is the annual fund-raising campaign that provides scout families, community organizations and local businesses the oppurtunity to support Scouting and Learning for Life programs in thier communities.
Council Overview
The Hudson Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America served more then 10,000 young people in 2007 in the New York counties of Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Sullivan and Pike County in Pennsylvania.
Scouting and Learning for Life Programs are delivered to our young people through more than 4,000 adult volunteers in partnership with nearly 300 community based organizations, which include religious institutions, schools and civic clubs.
The Hudson Valley Council, BSA operates two year round 300 hundred acre camping facilities. They are Camp Bullowa in Rockland County and Camp Nooteeming in Dutchess County.
